UNITED KINGDOM

Our decade-long background in Australian online, print and community media fulfilled a life-long business ambition of producing programmes at BBC Radio 2 & 4, specialising in daily topical, news and weekly programmes.

We also conducted academic research, including a study of the production techniques of volunteers in UK community radio using a practitioner-model approach.

As an independent production company and consultancy, we co-produce with others to create national and local oral history projects; in particular, creating workflow processes, procedures, scoping out projects, bid writing and overall planning and management. For community media, we provide operations and project management, volunteer management, training, board advisory work and collaborative audio, focusing on social gain outcomes in local communities.

Our specialism is shaping project themes, episode, and series development, and utilising archival material to produce radio programmes and podcasts. We believe that collaboration using audio sits at the nexus of capturing people’s experiences and opinions and communicating how they make sense of the world around them.
